1. What is the voice I hear talking over the music previews?  [TOP]
The voice you hear is what is called an audio watermark. Because we want our customers to hear as much of the quality of our recordings as possible we have chosen to post fairly high quality stereo MP3 samples of our music. The high quality samples make it tempting for some visitors to record and use our music without purchasing a license. The audio watermark is there to make it a little to difficult to record our samples directly off of our site.
The audio watermark will of course not be included in the files that are delivered to you after submitting your order.

2. The MP3 previews don't loop smoothly sometimes. Will my downloaded music files loop properly?  [TOP]
Yes. The MP3 previews on Musicloops.com are streaming previews to make our pages load faster.
Because the previews are streaming you may hear a bump in the loops as the preview rebuffers itself.
The full resolution WAV files you receive after purchase are all edited to loop seamlessly without pops or dropped beats.

3. How can I use this music?  [TOP]
When you purchase a music track or music loop from Musicloops.com you will receive a license agreement which gives you legal right to use the music in your multimedia projects. If someone questions your right to use the sounds you can show them your agreement or have them contact Musicloops.com. We will also sign and fax back any written verification notice you might need for release of the sounds.

Our license agreement is very generous for the price. Most production music companies ask you to report to them how you are using their music and they'll bill you accordingly (even if you don't buy from us you should always make an inquiry regarding limited use license and billing). Under our agreement your one time payment alllows you to use the sounds on the CD-ROM in any way you wish. The only limit we put on our sound files is that you may not post them on the internet for download and you cannot resell or redistribute them *as a collection*.

You can:
- Use and distribute these sounds in a Flash Animation, Powerpoint demo or any multimedia presentation.

- Use these sounds on radio, television and in films without reporting to ASCAP or BMI

- Use and distribute these sounds in a product such as a toy or an alarm clock.

- Remix our music into your own music (simply adding vocals to our music needs special permission).

- Use these sounds as a background sound for a web page

You cannot:
- Take our music and/or sound effects and sell them as your own. This includes repurposing our collections for ringtones.

- Make copies of any of our CDs and sell, rent or distribute them in any way

4. I see that you use Paypal to process your payments. Can I just pay with a credit card?  [TOP]
Yes, you can use any major credit card through our Paypal system. Our system does not require that you have a Paypal account to make a purchase.

5. How will I receive my music?  [TOP]
Once you place your order and submit your info on the Paypal/Musicloops.com secure order page you will be taken to a confirmation page that has a button labeled 'Return To Merchant'. Click on this button and you will be taken to your download page on Musicloops.com.

The download page will have links for pointing to the full resolution WAV files of the music track you have just purchased.
To download you can either;
  1.  Right-click directly on the link (control-click on a Mac) and choose 'save target as' from the menu that pops up.
  2. Click on the link and let the file load completely into your browser (you will see a progress indicator as it loads). Once it has completely loaded choose 'save page as' from the 'File' menu of your browser.
When saving the file you will notice that the file name consists of a series of letters and numbers. You might want to change the name of the file you are downloading to match the name of the song which is also the name of the link. We have to use this naming scheme for security measures.
