Ludwig Von Beethoven on December 17, 1770 in Bonn, Germany and died on March 26, 1827 after having settled in Vienna, Austria in 1792. He is generally regarded as one of the greatest composers in the history of music, and was the most influential figure in the period between the Classical and Romantic eras.
Some important pieces from the Early period are the 1st and 2nd symphonies, the first six string quartets, the first three piano concertos, and the first twenty piano sonatas, including the famous Pathétique and Moonlight.
