Johann Sebastian Bach was born on the 21st of March 1685 and died on the 28th July 1750. He was a German composer and organist of the Baroque period who enriched the German musical style with a robust contrapuntal technique and is regarded as one of the greatest composers of all time.
JS Bach's works include the Brandenburg concerti, the Goldberg Variations, the keyboard Suites, das Wohltempierte Klavier, Partitas, the Mass in B Minor, the St Matthew Passion, The Musical Offering, The Art of Fugue, and more than 200 cantatas.
