Jacques Offenbach was a French composer and cellist of the Romantic era, he was born on June 20th June, 1819 and died on the 5th October in 1880 and was one of the originators of the operetta form. He was one of the most influential composers of in Europe in the 19th century in terms of popular music. The Tales of Hoffmann and The Can Can are two of his most memorable melodies and are available here on Royalty Free Classical Music.
